I cannot over emphasize the importance of good oral hygiene. It is your first line of defense in preventing oral diseases such as tooth decay and periodontal disease (gum disease). Preventive care which includes soft tissue management, proper brushing, flossing, and seeing your dentist at least twice a year will help keep your mouth healthy, your breath fresh, and your smile beautiful.
I love my profession; it gives me great satisfaction in providing dental health care to my patients, thus, helping them avoid the need for dental disease care. Effective preventive dentistry combined chairside counseling, proper diet, and home oral care are all helpful in preventing dental disease.
